Use search and look back at the other 2 threads within the last year about drugs and driving. One has one putting it into practice, the other one is pure P&N.

Take this back to P&N.

It's not P&N at all. It's your personal thoughts, not a debate.

Driving under any mind altering substances is stupid. You may have the right to endanger your life, but not the lives of other drivers on the road.

If you want to smoke weed, do it within the privacy of your own home, not in your car.

I think it's a bad idea. Putting other people's safety at risk because you want to get high seems very selfish to me.

I voted that it's irresponsible, but if somebody had to choose one, I'd rather they were high rather than drunk.

i headbang and listen to music ridiculously loud while driving 66mph in the slow lane.

yes, i am the bane of society.

If it keeps you distracted and uncoordinated and worsens your reaction time, then you shouldn't drive as you become a danger to yourself, your passengers, and other drivers and pedestrians on the road.

Why is this even a question?

I don't think it's nearly as dangerous as driving drunk - alcohol tends to make you a more aggressive driver, weed slows you down and mellows you out, makes you drive like an old lady - but it's still stupid and irresponsible to drive under the influence of any drug. Shit, I don't think you should be driving under the influence of cough syrup.

sleep depravity is a dangerous drug to be under the influence of while driving too.

What type of insanely dumb-shit question is this? Driving while impaired - regardless of the source - is dumb and irresponsible.

People wreck their cars fucking with a radio or stuffing their faces with cheeseburgers when they're sober....do you REALLY need to add fuel to the fire with dope?

think about it.

Absolutely. Pot reduces your reaction time and skews your judgement.

It is not a good idea AND is illegal not to mention irresponsible to drive under the influence of ANY substance that changes anything about your mental state.

Yeah, wow, duh. I have way too many friends who are blasé about it, and it definitely scares me.

it's not nearly as bad as driving drunk.

I'd "rather" (note the decision to be made) drive really stoned than just moderatly drunk.

I'd rather not do either, if given the option, but in my past experience, unless Im completely blazed off some killer hydro, I'm still a better driver than most people when they've only had a few drinks.

i still say its irresponsible either way.
