I would like those that really know the current driving test regulations and all to answer... but my question is, when going in reverse do you HAVE to have both hands on the wheel, or is it alright to have one on the wheel and the other behind the seat? It's just that when I have one hand behind the seat, its more comfortable for me... Well thats it :)

I think you can have one hand on the steering wheel and the other hand can be anywhere, just as look as you actually turn your head/body to look what is behind and where you are going, and DON'T use the rear view mirror to see what's behind you when you are backing up.

Thanks for the quick reply. I do turn my head/body while going in reverse, and once and awhile check the right side mirror to check how close I am to the curb. But just wanted to know whether or not going in reverse would get points deducted :)
