Driving sucks

On Sunday afternoon I left on my drive to Houston, TX from West Lafayette, IN. I was told the trip would only take 14-15 hours, but to my suprise it took 17.5 hours. Thanks to the wonderful road workers who decide to work on 30 mile stretches of highway at teh same time.

Oh well this is a mini rant towards those road construction workers who stand around and do nothing. Also, when the speed limit is 70. Please do near that. Too many times I passed people doing 55 in a 70. Of course it is fun to blow by them doing 90.

Well, minendo has arrived back from Houston and is semi-ready for the school year to start.

As did I, but I had to be back so that my girlfriend could be to work tomorrow. Stupid employer would only give her five days off.

Trip was great. We didn't get to do much since we weren't there for long, but we had a great time. We ended up going to the Astros-Marlins game on Wednesday night and saw Bagwell hit his 20th.

Yeah I have a Stealth. It was nice when there was no traffic or cops, but that was not very often.

I drove midnight to 8 am to delaware 2 weeks ago, not a single cop, passed only 20 cars until baltimore beltway. I went between 90 and 100 for 6 hours straight. I was scared shitless every hill i went over and every "curve" i came around. It was fun tho, but I went through gas in a quickness...
