Eh, Im a car n00b. Anyway, when driving stick I know your supposed to not "ride the clutch". That means have the clutch partially in right?

So, what are you suppossed to do when you get started? Your in first gear, so you gotta let the clutch out slowly and and get going while the clutch is not fully released.

Man I suck 🙁 I want an automatic 😛

You will do damage during your learning period (from slipping the clutch), but that's to be expected.

Within a few weeks you'll be able to easily start in 1st (or 2nd even) without even thinking about it, & the damage you do learning is minimal compared to the clutch life.
