driving schools in Toronto

Could you guys recommend a good driving school in Toronto? Preferably one you've had personal experience with? I see lots of advertising from Young Drivers but they cost $500 more than everyone else. Also all the other schools appear to offer the exact same amount of in class/road hours so I'd prefer if someone who's actually used one of these schools could recommend one.

Thanks

There's one that is only open once per year but it runs along Lakeshore.

Entrance fee is a bit high, though. 😉

They don't do it though highschool, on state dollars in ontario?

I did one that went through our school board, but I'm in Simcoe County so it might be different down there.
I don't think that there is something that is province wide but you should check with your school. I don't remember them being a lot more expensive than anyone else.

Colt45 and JonnyStarks, I am not in high school. I've just never had the need for a drivers license until now so I need an actual driving school.

Bootprint, yeah it seems that with any Ontario approved school you can get the insurance discount.

Anyone else have any suggestions?

V's Driving School. It's the Cheapest. THey have locations in Mississauga and Markham.
$360 I believe was for mine. Go there, you won't be sorry. 🙂

Unforunately I live closer to downtown Toronto so those locations aren't very convenient. Also lessons can be had here for $299. My only problem is that I don't know which schools are reputable. If anyone else has any suggestions I'd appreciate it.
