In the city, the electric engine is doing most of the work, it's not so hard to believe. If you're driving around less than 25MPH, the electric engine is doing all the work. If you're stopped, the gas engine cuts off.

Actually, I believe the RX still has a 3.0 liter V6 in the UK, so it is still the RX300 there.
