Does your car have cruise control? I drove from Seattle to Vegas once and cruise control made it alot easier

Then you don't know what "average" means. To do 400 miles in 3.5 hours you'd have to average about 115mph - way off from 90.

I use to drive from Northern NJ/NY to Virginia on I95 and it took 3.5 hours with no traffic. and about 4 hours with little traffic on the way.
Maybe I was driving faster.

I don't know how some of you guys can do it. In one stretch the longest I can handle is the 12 hour trip to Orlando. I don't want to drive another inch until the next morning after that.
