I posted this on the Logitech forum but that place gets one reply a week and I need to know soon so I can open a case against this guy if needed.
I bought a Driving Force Pro on ebay. I owned a new one back when they were first released but donated it once I was tired of GT4. Anyway, I do not recall the problem I'm having now happening back then.
I only use it on my PC. When driving in a straight line there is a "chk chk chk" noise with no tension that I can detect. Turning slightly seems to alleviate it, though the other noises may just be masking it.
The brake appears to have an inordinate amount of play in it. It's like pressing on air until about 75%. I also have to set the deadzone in games to 10-15% or it will be activated.
Also when not in 900-degree mode, the right LED dimly flashes. I don't know if that's normal, but I'm trying to make sure there are no problems since the person described it as "like-new, very little use."
Thanks for any help.
