I'm teaching someone how to drive, and honestly, I don't remember all precise rules that the dmv officer will want (a lot of people probably dont obey them anyways once they get their license). I"m looking at the drivers license manual and it does not really tell you.
questions:
1. when approaching a stop sign, when should you start putting on your turn signals to make a turn (how many feet or yards)?
2. I'm sure the officer will tell my friend to stop abruptly in the middle of the road and start to reverse. Does she need to turn on her hazard lights? turn on any lights?
3. when asked to do a parallel parking maneuver, she is supposed to turn on her blinker. Does she do it as she approaches the vehicle next to her, or does she do it when she starts to reverse?
finally, any parallel parking tips? Do you guys have any specific guidelines besides just eyeballing it?
