That's not long. 26 hours one way is a long drive.

Agreed. Longest I have done is 36 hours one way. South Bend, IN to LA for the Rose Bowl. Three drivers non-stop.

You will be fine.
I do Providence, RI to Houston, TX in two days flat. Driving 16 hours straight and stopping every 3 hours at a Mickey D's for a break and staying overnite in Tennnessee.

Burn Lots of CD's.. and crank the music and just enjoy the trip.
Hope the weather co-operates :)

I'm driving with my dad from Illinois to Florida leaving tomorrow night. We are driving straight through getting there Friday night, crashing in a motel, picking the new dragster up on Saturday and driving straight back to Illinois so take that. I'm gonna be worthless next week.

Toronto is 5 hours away from ottawa?

Took me about 6 hours from montreal, takes me two hours to get to ottawa from montreal.

Mind you I was driving about 180-190km/h on the 401 (great highway to speed on btw, lol).

Are you kidding me. Used to live in Ottawa and went to Toronto about 8 times a year. To Scarborough, it took me 3.5 hours tops. To Mississauga, it took another 45 minutes. This was going no faster than 120.

The trick is not to stop (for food, gas, anything). If you have a wife/gf with a small bladder, then you need to ration. Believe me, it makes the trip go so much faster.

That's a pretty high speed to sustain... what kinda car?
120 Km/h? Thats only 80 mph.

My Crown Vic starts cruising beautifully at 120 km/h and up.

I drive to home and back to school at least once a month in a weekend. I do it without a single stop and it takes me around five hours. My longest solo drive was from Toronto to about an hour into the UP of Michigan. It took me a little over eight hours with only 3 stops (duty-free (had to pick up some Bombay Sapphire), food+gas, gas).
