Driving a 2003 Grand Marquis rental

This is a really nice car, too bad I only have it until tomorrow morning. I was having a blast kicking out the rear going around corners. The rear tires are in really good shape which is surprising for a RWD rental😛 I also did a quick brake-stand and left a nice patch of rubber😉 These cars handle much better than the old-style Crown Vics. My father used to have a '91 Crown Victoria which handled like a boat, this handles surprisingly well for its size.

Uh oh, it's stuck in my driveway😱 I parked it in a section of the driveway that is unplowed. When I got out I saw that the snow is up to the undercarriage. Needless to say it isn't going anywhere. I'm gonna have to do a lot of shoveling tomorrow.

I didn't abuse it the way some people do. Just did a quick brake-torque, and punched it a few times around corners.

Ahhh rental cars😀 (always buy the insurance😉)

Anyway what a great car. Next time see if you can get a Continental. IMO most comfortable ride on the planet.

I went through 50 CarFAX reports trying to find my wife a G. Marquis that hadn't been rented or corporate lease. I'm glad I stuck to my guns!

Yes, I don't like when people beat up rentals like that either, that's ass.
but this guy isn't beating it up...
I simply however agree with the generalization... 😛

If you can't beat up on a rental car then what can you beat up on? My brother rented some 2003 Toyota or Hyundai or something cheesy like that and did brake stands for an hour in it.. Compared to his '02 Camaro SS its a bit harder to burn some rubber with that thing, heh.. We did start smelling burning rubber after a while but I don't think it was from the tires..

Here is another reason not to buy rental cars.
