Drives lost in BIOS

Hi Folks - just a quick bit of advice please.

Computer has been running fine, but last couple of days during inital bios scan no harddrives/DVD are detected ( I have 3 HD's installed + 1 DVD) Turn off and on and they are back (but the boot order is lost) Computer then runs fine until next morning when I turn it on again and same thing. Nothing else in Bios has reset as far as I can see.

Bad battery or dying mobo???

Cheers

Yeah thought I would just try a new battery (local shop sold them which I was surprised at!!)

But unfortunately it made no difference - as soon as I power of the first boot detects no Internal drives. (USB drive is detected and yes I have tried it without USB drive plugged in and it still happens wont find them)

Looking like a mobo problem - Damn!!
