Hi all of u people at ANANDTECH

My question is i am running with Ati hd 5850 graphic card the product is fine untill i encountered one problem which was cursor over size i quickly respond to AMd team they told me to update urs Bios Drivers i followed them
Now i needs to know that is there is any difference B/w motherboard driver and Bios driver

2. to update my drivers My motherboard is Dh55TC media series intel original
do i needs to update motherboard drivers as have already update Bios drivers .

3.Secondly i have updated Ati drivers please suggest me if any one have encountered this problem and has also fixed this one .

I have heard people referring to updating the 'bios' of some of these new series video cards, and have been a bit confused myself. I think they are just using the wrong terminology for the video card's firmware. I'm not sure what make Radeon card you have, but the video card's firmware is what you want to update.

DH55TC is Intel's H55 chipset-based board and you need not update motherboard drivers for the mouse cursor problem, which is known bug of early Catalyst drivers for HD 5000 series. You simply download the latest Catalyst drivers for HD 5830 from amd.com, and install it.

Thanks brother for a quick reply i will re install the drivers but can u also explain why we needs to go for hd 5830 instead of hd 5850
