Drivers Problem

I recently bought an Elsa Gladiac Geforce 2 MX card. I am running Windows ME.

My problem is that, the first drivers I installed were the Elsa drivers themselves. At that time I could change my video refresh rate. Then I did something that I can't remember (I blame school) and my video refresh rate. I was sick for a while of not being able to change the refresh rate and because of the raw slowless of their video drivers so I grabbed Nvidia's detonator drivers.

Then, I had some troubles installing these because I didn't really remove the previous drivers all the way, I simply uninstalled the Windows program files. But I finally did end up removing all of the Elsa stuff and getting the nVidia drivers on there. Now, I still don't have the option to change my refresh rate at any location as far as I can tell.

Thanks for any help you can give.

(By the way, I was not using any Video Card before. This is a newly-built system)

Did you install drivers for your monitor? It has to be installed as a "Plug and Play" at least for you to change your refresh rates. You can't do it if it's still a "Default Monitor".
