Drivers license renewal..

Anyone renew their drivers lic via snail mail?...
my problem is i kinda started it a little late(December 7)...and mmy license expires Jan20.
I am going on a road trip Jan23 so it would be a bummer if DMV doesn't renew it by then.
Any hope?..ideas?...what if i get pulled over?

do they send u a new license or a sticker?...

I sent mine in a few weeks ago, haven't seen anything since. Mine expires on the 10th....

they sent me a new license...

BTW... went to the DMV today for my brother's 2nd written test... and they said all systems are down statewide... 😕 so i had to come back monday if i was to apply for anything.

Go to the DMV and renew it, they give you a temporary one and you get the real one in the mail.

i'm renewing mine in late June (hopefully) just in time for my 21st birthday in July. i'm so excited...but someone told me yesterday that I'd be a cheap 21st..b/c it doesn't take me much to get wasted...so everyone won't have to spend too much money to get me drunk. hehe..how sad. 😀

If they processed it already, you can pick up a temp one.

yeah. I suspect they would transfer you to the main office though (NY would be in Albany) for phone queries.

If you walk in.... I think they can read what's in the system.
