drivers in Win8.1

Changed SSD and so far so good. Changed a brand new M500 for a brand new 840EVO. Could be coincidence????
PS I never use cache drives. The SSD is always the system disk(in my computers).
 
so we all can agree that this was another blame win 8.1 thread that was basically a what am I doing wrong thread?? or an I didn`t know that thread?
 
RST drivers still crash win8.1. Tried this on 6 intel pc's/laptops now....BSOD everytime. So I leave them out. Never ever did I have problems with Intel drivers.
