Drivers - have install cd's but cannot find drivers

Hi All,
I have recenty built my first system using epoxn 8K7A, athlon 1.4 DDr, GEforce 3 and soundblaster live 5.1...I have win 98 installed and have managed to load the drivers for the grphics card but am having no luck with the sound card or modem..Iam sure the cd's have the drivers on them but the setup wizard cannot find them, i have tried looking in the cd for them manualy but cannot find them!!!!
had this problem the first time i loaded win98 and triedto load the graphic drivers and i think it had something to do with the drivers i loaded from the motherboard which were 'via busmaster ide drivers' ' amd miniport drivers' 'usb drivers' and '686 A/B audio driver for win9x' because after loading those the cd would only say ilegay operation and close down!!!

am at a loss as to what to do next!!! as i cannot get on the net with that machine(am on work laptop) to download any big drivers

You wouldn't be able to use a HUB to transfer data between your laptop and your PC? Or even a serial cable? It may be slow as heck, but it'd help ...?

Or get a CD-recordable with a writer?

I think "big drivers" (esp. Detonator 3 for the GeForce) may help you 🙂.
