Should I use the drivers from ATI or the Omega drivers? What do you all use? Get the best frame rates and so on. All views are welcomed.

What are you hoping to accomplish with the drivers? Stability wise I would use the ATI driver. If you want to try to overclock or change the card BIOS you should use the Omega drivers.

I'm looking for stability not much of a big OC.... My current card run around 50 degrees so I don't want to oc and burn it out. Another question, how do I upgrade the firmware on my card?

Situations I used Omega drivers for was for upgrading the cards BIOS and some o/c of the card. I would use the ATI driver should work fine performance and stability wise for your situation.

omega drivers are just the regular drivers with some of the files being from other(older) versions of the catalyst drivers because the author feels that they're superior to the current versions. Bottom line is, unless you need an older version of catalyst for whatever reason(like say, a game showing artifacts with the latest drivers but not some older version) you won't notice any difference at all compared to the official drivers

In my opinion, the latest drivers (Catalyst 9.2) are excellent - I've found no flaws or issues at all. I'm running windows XP, though.
