Fedex should deliver my powercolor radeon x800xl any moment now. I know that the drivers that come with graphics cards are usually not the most up to date, so I'm trying to find a good driver online. I got to this page - http://www.powercolor.com/main_support_driver.asp , but im basically lost as too which one I should download. Anyone know whats the best? should i just go with the first one? family display 5.13? Thanks!

Just download the drivers from ATI's website here. Just look on the left side, and click on the link below Catalyst® for Windows® XP.

Thanks ..

also an unrelated question? What kind of 3dmark05 score can I expect?

My current system I only get a 850.
Currently -
Dell 8400
p4 3.0ghz
1.5gb Ram
radeon x300se

so only thing new will be the radeon x800xl

is the 850 i have now too low, or is my current graphics card really that bad? I was getting 4-5fps at the most in the test. I want to know so I can make sure my system is running smoothly with this new card.

That score is fine because of that graphics card. It really blows when it comes to gaming, so it's a good thing you got a new card. :)

yea 64 bit and only 4 pixel pipelines i think. Im in a bad situation though, cus I think my cpu is holding me back, but I don't want to buy a whole new motherboard etc. Then it wont even be a dell 8400 anymore.

You're in a fine situation because that X800XL will bring your scores up in 3DMark05 and your FPS during games will go up, alot. Your CPU will not hold that card back very much, if at all in new games today.
