Any pointers on how to download the Windows XP driver for Microsoft MN-720 (11g Wireless Notebook Adapter)
I seem to have misplaced my CD.

Any pointers / websites are appreciated

I searched and it appears that there is no available drivers from their site. Does windows detect it? What about hooking it up to a wired lan and running windows update to see if it will download a driver?

Same thing here, I lost the CD and now I can't get this damned thing to work. If anyone finds a CD could they send or link a copy or .iso to me? And I'll do the same.

I have the CD (just bought the notebook kit today).

But how about this.

Alternatively, I think you only need the 3 files I posted here.

You're supposed to install the drivers before you install the card, so you may need to remove/uninstall the card before you proceed with the drivers.

You're a good man Slogun, the driver works fine. But...

The update program (there is one for both software and firmware since I bought it) finds nothing to update without the Microsoft Broadband Utility installed on your computer, which cannot be downloaded anywhere.

Believe me, I've looked. The link you send updates the Microsoft Broadband Utility, it doesn't install the original.

Thank you though

If someone still needs this available, I can try and make an ISO of the CD and you can download it from me. Just send me a PM

I don't know if you have found how to get the Microsoft Broadband Utility installed yet but here is what i came across on the microsoft usergroup

Goto
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/broadbandnetworking/15_Downloads.aspx

Select MN700
Download the msbndownload.exe file
Run the msbndownload.exe file
Accept the EULA
Save the files to "C:\MSBBN"
Once the files are extracted, cancel the setup.

Goto C:\MSBBN through Windows Explorer
Right click msbn.msi and install it.

After you install it, the drivers will be in (if you keep the default msbn
install directory) C:\Program Files\Microsoft Broadband Networking

Another way to do it is that if you have another MN-7xx product (ie the MN-700 router or the MN-710 USB card) they all come with the same software (although some have older versions). So, if you've got the router's disk you can install the MN-720 wireless card from the router's disc.
