Drivers for Intel TV Tuner Card

My PCI Card is a Intel PBA 658391-001, and I can't find drivers anywhere, except some old Win98 drivers.

I'm running XP, and I'm not ever sure if this is a possibility to get to work.

Also, for experts out there, I was wondering what software is used to actually watch the shows, is it WinTV or is it Microsoft WebTV?

I've done some searching, and according to what I can find, that TV tuner is not supported for any OS newer than Windows 98, which is why you can't find any newer drivers. You can try installing the Windows 98 drivers in XP and you might get lucky, but there are quite a few posts on the Net saying that they couldn't get it to work...

I know, I've seemed to run into the same problems, I wish someone would've ported newer drivers to fit XP, but I'm not so lucky 🙁

From Intel:

If the part number is 658391-001, 658391-002 or 658391-003, you have the Intel Intercast video capture card. Intercast boards were provided to various computer manufacturers for inclusion with their systems. Support for this card is provided by the manufacturer of the computer that the card originally shipped in. Intel Customer Support cannot provide answers to questions on this product.

You can get a regular TV tuner card for less than $20 bucks nowadays. Here's a sample Froogle search:

I know you would prefer to not have to spend money, but your time has to be worth something, in the end, and the time spent in a futile attempt to find drivers for this is probably worth a lot more than $20, lol. Good luck.
