Drivers for 5870 AMD??? Help!

Old win 7 laptop (Asus rog) I use for older games. Current graphics driver out of date...new drivers fromAMD 15. xx do not seem to work. I liked the 11.10 old drivers, but cannot find them. Anyway, what drivers would you recommend?
Also, anyone using THIS gpu, what drivers work for you?
 
Have you checked the product and support page for the model of your laptop on Asus' official website?
 
15.7.1 or 16.3 beta, are the only two "newest" drivers available for pre-GCN cards/APUs, in Win7/Win10.


Edit: If this is a laptop / Mobile GPU, then you may be at the mercy of the vendor's drivers, sorry to say.
 
I had upgraded to 11.10, but due to a reformat, lost those drivers (stupid me, did not back up drivers)/ The 11 worked great.Will check out vendor...not sure if 15.xxx will work well with Witcher 1 enhanced.

Witcher 1 runs fine on AMD's newest drivers and cards. I am sure it would run fine on the latest drivers that support the 5x00 series cards as well.
 
I'm guessing your notebook has an Intel CPU, so leshcatlabs' unified driver may work for you:

I used to install them before AMD and Intel fixed this driver mess.
 
Users who still have these cards and have done tests claim that it's the 15.7.1 driver that's being targeted for modern games/programs that still support these GPUs.

I used Win10's default 15.7.1 driver without noticing any issues, didn't test TW1 specifically though.
