Drivers/Bios settings for 3D Graphics Blaster TNT2 on Asus A7V

Any suggestions on which drivers to use? I currently cannot run any 3D apps (games in other words) on this card. They simply lock up within 5 minutes of play. It could be a cooling prob but I've had the card for over a year and haven't had any problems until I got the A7V mobo. Could this sucker actually be running hotter on this board or is it a possible bios/driver problem? Thanks for any tips.

Did you install the Via 4 in 1 drivers? ( 4.29)are the latest,go into Bios disable all video shadowing,fastwrites should be disabled,try 2x AGP mode & make sure PCI slot 1 is empty(nearest to AGP slot)I presume your card is AGP?anyway check for IRQ conflicts,btw what OS do you have if it`s Win2000 you may need the AMD/Win2000 patch,What are your temp readings,Driver wise try 6.50 since they are official or go back to the Detonator 2 series(5.xx)
