Yes I saw that one. I was impressed with the clean and modern building and the fact that most of the staff are wearing casual dress. It must be a great place to work.

Also I think being a driver tester (ie playing games all day) would be the best job in the world.

I bet each one of those testing computers has like a 9800 Pro in there... ;)

I bet there is a room where people can just 'borrow' some video cards, hehe. That would be pretty neat, I mean heck, if they give me about 10 or 20, not too many, 9900 256MB cards I'll work there this summer even as a janitor ;)

I really think the ring of fire is a nice touch. And the fact that they have a massive Radeon 9700 PRO banner tells me that they still pay homage to the card for giving ATi the shot in the arm they needed.

Other interesting comments of note from the text:

We then proceeded to their hardware QA section. It is here w(h)ere 2 things happen. One, they examine and perform QA on their prototype products and two, they examine all the RMA cards that come back to ATI.

There were approximately 600 computers running beta Catalyst drivers on a continual basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

As expected, I wasn?t able to capture any close-up shots of any products being produced, but let me tell you that there are some really exciting products coming out soon!!!!

Rumor over at Rage3D.com has it that ATi has scrapped "R400." Instead, ATi will respond with R390, a .13mu/higher-clocked version of R350 to compete against NV35 and a new core in R420 in Q1 2004.
