Well, I fixed it. Uninstalling Kerio fixed the blue screen, as I said earlier. The internet problem was just a few settings I overlooked. Apparently this onboard NIC and my home router don't get along, so it didn't autodetect just right. Turns out AOL was an old subscription so I didn't have to worry about that, they use RoadRunner now. The AOL connections in Internet Options still won't delete, but I don't thinkt they're really there. I think they're "brain farts" becasue when I click properties it says it can't find the phone book entries for them. I don't guess it's hurting anything, but I'd still like to get rid of them. I'm gonna do some routine maintenance like defrag for them, and send it back to the owner tomorrow. Many thanks to all of you that helped. Hope my problem helps somebody else.

Summary: When there's a blue screen of death, read the memory dump file (or have someone help with this), and you can figure out what the problem is and how to solve it.

I have one more question. How do you read the dump files? What program do you use? I know there are probably tutorials on this online, but I can't find them. I guess my main question is, how do you use the symbols? If you don't want to personally answer this question, maybe you could point me in the right direction to find the answer. I spent a long time the other day trying to find things on it or just make it work, but I can't seem to get it to see the symbol path right, and everything I've read says the symbols are very important. Thanks.

Thanks. That helps me understand it. My biggest problem was the symbols, so it's good to have a program that doesn't need the symbols. I really appreciate that, and I think I can learn how to interpret the files. Maybe. If I try hard. Thanks again.
