Hello,

My CPU keeps shuting down when I go to the sportsline live scoreing web page, and it gives me this error on the blue screen. Does any one know how to fix this?

My wild guess is that you have a memory problem.

If you have more than one stick, pull one out and try connecting again. If
that causes an error, substitute sticks. If that still causes the same problem then
you _might_ have a memory controller problem, ie, motherboard needs to be
replaced.

I could be wrong. Hopefully, someone with more experience will reply.

If you can, put all your "stuff" onto another motherboard and see what happens.

I say that it is your motherboard because this sort of thing happened to me.

One other possibility is that if you are using a network card, the card may be
the culprit. Swap the card. I had a card that would hang my machine at odd times
when doing general surfing, but always several minutes into a Quake3 game.

Good luck.

This is the Win 2K/XP equivalent of the fatal exception ODs and OE blue screens in Win 9x. They will tend to occur after installation of new hardware and the fix is to remove the driver try another one.
