Driver Update Software question

I am looking for a good program that will detect what drivers I need to update and update them for me. I understand this will improve the stabilty and performance of my PC. I am looking at Driver Alert by PCPitstop. Has anyone used it or have an opinion on it.

Thanks,

CEV

If it were me, I'd just check every month or two for a new motherboard-chipset driver package from Intel, nVidia, AMD, VIA or SiS, as the case may be, and for new video drivers from nVidia or ATI/AMD or whomever. I don't see much value in trying to automate such a simple and infrequent task 🙂 Just bookmark the two sites that correspond to your system (motherboard chipset, video chipset) and check periodically for updated drivers. If you need help determining what they are, post your motherboard & video card info.
