I updated windows vista 64 about a month ago and when I restarted I get this error:
"windows failed to start. A recent hardware of software change might be a problem"
File: Windows/system32/drivers/sfvfso2.sys
Status: 0xc0000428
Info: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file
and the only way I can get it to work is to disable driver signature enforcement. I really don't know exactly what that does. But everytime I start my computer I do that and it overall works fine.
But it seems now most of the games I play don't work (Fallout 3 most recently) unless I run the program as an administrator.
Is that the reason?
