Anybody else pickup this game? It's awesome. Driving is fun as hell, graphics are pretty good, and the world is pretty great. Missions are fun too.

Just did a good run in the Chevelle SS but cannot upload all of it because it is too long. 😡 Only complaint thus far is the editor time limit (and the editor itself could be a little bit better).

I've been hearing good things! Of the three big games released this week, I was sure this one would be the worst. But its getting good scores.
What are the missions like? Give an example of a fun one. I've watched some trailers, and am still not entirely sure what the object is.

Well, the missions are protect something, stop a race, eliminate some car, win a race, beat the checkpoints, deliver something (like a tow truck with a car), crash signs, etc. The thing is, since it is all driving, the turns are crazy and the AI is actually relatively good and challenging. Picking the right car is essential too...for instance, don't pick a dune buggy to win a street race, lol.
There is a little "side story" where these two asian kids initially start racing for college money, and the one race is riding on all their cash and their business, so you have to win the race and they banter back and forth...well, I just finished like the fourth race with them...the one guy keeps entering them and the guy you take control of can't race, so you get into his body and win and keep telling him not to enter the races.

It's a fun game, but you kind of have to play it to make sense of it. Explaining it doesn't work correctly. It does remind me of Burnout Paradise mixed with Driver 1 though...really fun.
