Driver question

I realize i'll have to do the add/remove hardware thing. I've not installed any ATI drivers, just what XP provided.
Will I have to do anything else when I replace my 9700 Pro with my 9800 Pro, or will removing the old video card be sufficient?
Also, is it best to go with drivers from ATI's site or just let XP install them?
Thanks!

When XP installs them, it just guesses stuff about the card and makes a simple program to interface with it, you probably arn't getting half the performance you should. ATI pays people to constantly code new drivers and release them just for your card and you think you shouldn't use them? 0__o
....also, why would you replace a 9700 with a 9800, they are nearly the same and any money you spent probably would have bought you a recent card that coupld give you double the performance.

I had a choice of the 2. I chose the 9800 over the 9700. 🙂
Whenever I DO decide to purchase a card, it'll definitely be a significant upgrade.
