Driver question. New to Nvidia cards Should I use reference or manufacturer?

I have a 6800 coming tomorrow (EVGA)

Should I use the Evga drivers (latest from their site) or use the nvidia reference drivers? Main focus is Doom 3 performance

Sorry, I know with ATI to use reference drivers, and I assume it is better with nvidia reference drivers as well, but wanted to make sure.

Reference drivers!

I used MFG drivers once, and they put all kinds of crap on there that never uninstalled properly. When I went to another card (both Nvidia) I couldn't get my system to work. DriverCleaner won't work on anything but the reference drivers either, so that couldn't fix anything. I ended up needing to reformat the HDD to get the new card to install.

From now on I will always use the reference drivers so I don't have to worry about that crap again.
