Driver Question for an AMD Opty

I've searched this forum and a few others, and I just want to make sure I have everything down correctly.

Alright, I have an AMD 3500+ Winny now and I have an Opty 165 in the mail to me. I have the AMD Driver for the 3500+ installed right now.

Going to number my Q's so will be easier for someone to answer/reconfirm.

1. I have read that I do NOT need to reinstall Win XP Pro. I know I wouldn't if I was getting another single core ship, but want to double check going to the dual coreness.

2. Do I use the default AMD X2 driver or is there a driver specificaly for Opterons?

3. Same goes for the hotfix.

4. I know I can find the AMD X2 driver (unless I need a special driver for the Opteron in #2) from the AMD site, is the hotfix from Microsoft or somewhere else?

5. Anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks

It was explained nicely here.

Worked well for me and is easily disabled. XP did detect a dual core processor when I booted the first time (I had been running a 146 prior to that). I installed everything just the way that post describes and all is well.
