It was time to clean out and format an older Dimension 2400. Reinstalled XP Pro.
I reinstalled the required drivers from Dell's website, but I am still seeing a yellow exclamation sign next to the USB Controller listing under Device Manager.
I figured this is related to the Chipset driver, but that was installed first. And at the time I did install that the Ethernet Controller listing also had the yellow exclamation sign. But that went away after the chipset driver was installed. Still, though, it remains for the USB Controller.
What did I do wrong? What driver do I need? Or is it even a driver issue? Thank you.
