I play an MMORPG game called Ragnarok Online. Sometimes, when I log into the game, some graphics start to flash, then a few seconds later my computer freezes. This problem only occurs after watching any movie (avi, mpeg, etc.) in full screen. I tried logging in without watching a movie in full screen and I have no problems. I have no idea what the problem is, but my guess is it's the NVIDIA drivers. I also tried other games I have, Splinter Cell and Warcraft III, and I don't get any problems. My other computers which have the game installed have no problems. Here are my specs:

Athlon XP 1700+
GeForce4 Ti4800SE (Gainward) -- I have the newest drivers from NVIDIA website
Samsung 191T (Using DVI)
1GB PC2700 Samsung

Please help. Thanks in advance.

What OS are you using? I can only speak from experience with this card when used on an nForce2 board with WinXP Pro, but you might try to use the 43.45 drivers. They seem very stable for me.

Also, is this GF4 working on an install of Windows that has never seen an ATI card? Sometimes there are driver conflicts that might account for what you are seeing. And what video related BIOS settings have you selected?

some things to try
1. update to your mobos latest drivers
2. grab the hidden surface patch from the guru and mess with the agp settings, IE turning the AGP Fast write off. etc.

WinXP pro SP1. Mobo drivers are up to date. Mobo is KT3 Ultra2. And I have not installed ANY ATI cards on this computer.
