Driver problems, bad board?

I'm going to try and make a long story less long.

A few days ago I swapped out my Asus A7N8X deluxe and whatnot for a Winchester 3500+ and a MSI K8N Neo2 Plat. Knowing that I probably woulndn't be able to plug n' play I backed up my raid 0 array to an external HD with drive image. I imaged it back over to a non-raid HD once I had the new board in and fired up the system. Most of the drivers loaded OK (both chipsets use the same install package) but I kept getting "driver not for this platform" or some similar message. I finally got rid of that but I still get a "access denied" error for the driver of the sound and "there are not enough free resources" for one of the ID channels.

I suppose the best thing would be to just do a fresh install of windows although I am trying to avoid doing that because I don't have disks for all of the software and I would lose it if I had to reformat. Any input is apreciated.
