Driver letter keeps changing at bootup

I have two drives:

Y: DVD Burner
Z: CD Burner

For some reason the driver letter for Z: keeps changing to F:

Every boot I have to change it from F: back to Z:

I'm getting really annoyed.
 
does it redetect the drives or something? that could be causing that i suppose. have you tried checking cables and different letters?
