Driver-less car runs over man

Yes...as reported by the Toronto Star, Halton Region Police (area that is the outskirts of Toronto) are investigating an incident where an Eagle Talon was parked with the owner attending to some items in the trunk. The owner slammed the trunk shut, and the car somehow got into gear, running over a man that was in its path. Weird.

For those that don't know, DSM = Diamond Star Motors. Collaboration between Chrysler and Mitsubishi to share platorms and engines.

Before:

Eagle Talon = Mitsubishi Eclipse = stretched platform = Dodge Avenger = Chrysler Sebring

Now:

Mitsubishi Eclipse = Mitsubishi Galant = stretched platform = Dodge Sratus Coupe = Chrysler Sebring Coupe

Yes. Eagle was bought out by Chrysler in the '80s. It used to be AMC/Jeep/Eagle.

The Eagle was just an AMC model, it wasn't a seperate division. Chrysler for some reason just dropped the whole AMC name when they bought them out and just used the Eagle name instead. I am thinking about buying an amc eagle station wagon next spring to replace my current beater. Whats cooler than a big ugly all wheel drive station wagon jacked up like a suv ? Actually I bet the Eagle has more ground clearance and is a better off roader than most suvs being made today .
