driver for my sound blaster audigy 2 is not a valid win32 application

so i have no sound. anybody know what to do with this driver? in device manager it also says multimedia audio controller is not installed...

If you haven't solved your problem yet -- this type of stuff seems to be quite common with the audigy 2. When my card could not be recognized, I used - install new hardware and directed xp to install disk to find drivers. After that it could be recognized. Another way that has also worked for me is to download latest drivers from creative and unpack with winrar. Than install using ctzapxx.ex . Anyways these guys at driverheaven really know this stuff. :beer:

Also, if you want the audio drivers for your motherboard, the Asus website should have them for download.
