Driver for Athlon 64?

Is there any kind of driver I need to install for the Athlon 64 CPU?

Just to clarify:

Are you using Win XP 32bit? If so, then there is no driver update necessary to run an AMD64.
If you want the Cool n Quiet feature of the AMD64 then there is a driver you need.

I have never seen any driver necessary for any OS for an AMD64 now that I think about it. It is 100% X86 compatible

Got to AMD.com and you should find out how to activate cool-n-quiet. I don't have an AMD64 presently so I haven't researched it. Search the forum and you will find an how-to I am sure

You have to enable it in the bios
