Driver for a mini notebook with a 1024 x 600 screen?

Hi, I've got a JVC xp3210 here with a small widescreen aspect ratio LCD display. I've done a clean install of windows but it hasn't detected the screen properly. It's only giving me the option for resolutions of 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768. I need it to run at 1024 x 600, however. The thing didn't come with a disk containing drivers, and I can't find any drivers on either of JVC's websites (UK&US). I've looked for generic drivers in the windows list, but they all seem to be in the standard aspect ratio which is no use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
