Driver errors after new CPU installed!

I just installed a new cpu today. P3 866mhz 133fsbus. After booting up for the first time It blue screens and says A fatal exception has occurred at 0028:c176B3B in VXD EMU10K1(01) = 0000B71B. It happens whenever I try to run dxdiag.exe or something that requires direct sound. I've been told this is a driver problem due to the VXD EMU part and I am downloading the latest drivers. The file is 19mb and I'm on a 56k so it will take a while. I just thought it was strange to suddenly happen after I installed the new CPU. So, while I wait, I was wondering if any of you have any other ideas other than downloading the latest drivers.... Oh yeah, my soundcard is an SBLIVE!

Thats definitely a SB Live error.. the new drivers should to the trick. Not necessarily need NEW drivers since they have been around for awhile, but if you dont have Liveware 3.0 for your OS then its best to update.
