Driver download for USB digital camera

hey,

I've searched left and right and cannot seem to find a working driver for my HP Photosmart 215. HP decided to be lame and charge for their driver CD since I have misplaced mine after doing a full restore and cannot seem to get the digital camera to work.

I searched around google, google groups, yahoo and yahoo groups around for a driver and have been unsuccessful.

If any of you guys have this camera, or have some advice, it'd be greately appreciated.

Hey thanks man. I've actually found that a while ago and I wasn't able to get it to work. The Autorun.txt inside there is supposed to open up Setup.exe but the Setup.exe is not included in the zip

I may be doing something wrong. I find that hard to believe since I've worked with computers for a number of years and do Technical Support as my job.

If you guys have ANY other advice, please help! Thanks a lot 😉

Sorry about that. The camera is a USB camera, and I have Windows XP.
 
Can you just use the INF files to install the drivers? Or does the full driver package install some other software/programs?
 
unzip to some folder

when you plug the camera in, windows will ask for drivers, direct the wizard to that folder. you dont need any executable.
