Driver 388.59 keplered maxwell

hey guys, so I installed the above driver today and it dropped shadow of war by 30 fps and farcry 4 and primal for the 120's to 38 fps

I tried rolling back to 388.31 and the issues remain ex even after ddu

Specs are 1700 at 4ghz
Sli 980tis
Windows 10 1709 will all updates up to date

My fired had the same build but with a 1080ti and he has no issues at all
It's not sli as I disabled 1 card and performance stayed the same and gpu usage was around 30 percent in farcry games

Only thing I have left to do is whipe my pc and reinstall everything tomorow but I don't think that will fix it

If reinstalling doesn't fix it, you should run the Shadow of War benchmark on the old driver and the new driver and post up the result screenshots here for us to look at.

If you haven't reinstalled yet because it's a hassle for you, you could try booting in safe mode and removing the current driver with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), then installing the latest driver with "perform clean installation" checked. It should do everything possible to make sure you're clean and fresh short of a windows reinstall.

Have you tried the clean install option? I've used this when components become corrupted.
