Are there any progs that can do drive to drive copy with NTFS partitions. I want to copy the stuff on my 60GXP to my WD800JB, but PartitionMagic or Western Digital Data Lifeguard isn't working.

couldn't hurt to try!
Is it a bootable CD? ( the ghost that came with your board?)

I think the easiest way to do NTFS drive to drive copy is with DriveCopy 4.0. I do it ever week on three computers. DC 4 makes you a set of bootable floppies and with both drives connected - you just follow what it says - and in the ADVANCED options, uncheck HIDE THE SOURCE OR TARGET afterwards. Ghost will work - if you have the latest and greatest, so will DriveImage 2002, but they cost twice as much as DC 4 and are not as easy to use.

I haven't tried Drive Copy, but the past three versions or so of Drive Image and Ghost copy NTFS partitions quite nicely, even let you resize them on the fly for the new drive.

Drive Copy works between drives of different sizes - and it automatically proportions partition sizes. I have 6 partitions on my drives - all NTFS, and I can go from 20 to 40 to 80 and they will all be proportionally sized automatically. If the files were optimized prior to starting - that's they way they end up as well. All for $29.,95. PowerQuest doesn'tather sell you DI 2002 for $59.95. :)
