Drive size performance

Talking SATA, does the size of the drive impact performance in any way? Say a 80G vs 160G.

Not so's you'd notice it in anything but an exacting bench test. In applications, it really makes no difference.

not much difference... the theory is the larger the capacity, the denser the platters, the faster the seek/search times
