Drive recovery help needed...

I used a program to fix bad sectors on this hard drive and then I used EasyRecovery to get the data off the drive.

But what can I do to make this drive bootable again? When I double click it in windows it just asks me if I want to format it. Is there any software I can use to fix the structure of it so it will be bootable again?

hi. what OS is it? if its win 2k or xp you can try using the repair setup. but the main thing is if your hdd is failing since you had bad sectors and now windows wants to format. use the hdd diag from your hdd manufacturer?s website to make sure it passes. if it does then try out the stuff above. **Edit** However. more than likely what ever OS you will need to format then install from scratch, just make sure it passes the diag, otherwise you need to replace it.
