Drive, on Fox: Worst ensamble cast ever?

So I've been watching Drive the last few weeks and I have to say I like the concept of the show. However I have never seen worst acting in my life. Whoever did the casting for this show should have to take a bath in a tub full of lye. The hispanic guys are so over stereo-typed it's not even funny...the main character of the show always looks like he just took a really painful dump, the 'soulful black woman' was probably the biggest pushover I've ever seen on TV, and the girl who's driving with the pregnant woman might be the worst actress I've ever seen.


Anyone else feel the same?

Totally agree about the blonde with the pregnant chick. Just her brief time in the pilot was dreadful.

Yeah... the acting isn't the greatest, but there are lots of hotties and it is a decent story. I like it so far.

Edit: Saw it was canceled, that sucks.

I taped the first episode, saw the overnight ratings and erased the tape without even watching it. It was clear that the show wasn't going to last after the premiere was such a disaster.

Has anyone seen the series "Til Death Do Us Part" on Court TV? It totally wins for worst acting. The acting is so bad its hilarious, and as a result I have been coming back for more every time its on.

The first episode was by far the best though...so hilariously bad. Police are searching the guys house coming up with tons of evidence, but still wont convict. Ends up, this guy buries his wife while he's out on a Cub Scout trip with some kids...police officer questions them when he gets home and everything's ok til one of the kids goes "Well, he did go off on his own to bury a special time capsule." Despite the heaping load of evidence the police already had on him, THAT was the final straw that it took to cuff him and take him in.

Never watched Drive, but Nathan Filan is a great actor. Watch Sports Night, or 6 Feet Under. Even Firefly, while not his best work, was pretty good

he's the guy from Serenity, he had the same look in that show.

wow canceled already. lol...too bad. That was all-time pantheon level piss-poor acting though.

Now that Drive has been canceled, what am I supposed to watch to psych myself up for 24? Dancing With The Stars? Antiques Roadshow? House?!? I don't THINK so! :|

I hope that they show the final episodes on FX. I just hope that Alex DOESN'T win... it's too obvious of an ending!

Eh i don't really blame fox for cancelling the show as the first few eps weren't particularly interesting, but they should've given it a little more time.

Yeah... they did the exact opposite of what NBC did with Studio 60. The ratings on that show went to hell by episode 5, but it kept dragging on and on AND ON...

Or like baywatch they, NBC, canceled it and then it went on to a huge world wide hit. Family Guy was brought back etc...


I liked the idea of the show and was going to download them to watch (I work nights). Guess not.

I think you have Nathon Fillion and Peter Krause mixed up. Nathan Fillion is the dude from Firefly/Serenity and Slither. Peter Krause is the guy from Six Feet Under and Sports night. Sports night was a damn good show.

I started watching the first episode for Nathan Fillion, realized it sucked big time, felt sad for Nathan, and turned it off after 15 minutes.

fillion was the lead in Drive...I understand why Firefly got cancelled now..he looks like he's acting at gun point at all times. talk about a flat performer
