Currently using Drive Image XML v2.02. I am trying to upgrade my primary HD to a bigger sized HD. 80GB to a 500GB. Its a dual-boot drive so its probably the reason of my issues I am facing. I've been digging around google on Drive Image setups. I've done everything to the letter per instructions. C Drive is the boot partition and contains WinXP64, and D Drive contains WinXP32 which I use the most and the OS that I use Drive Image with.
I created my BartPE cd with the addons. I made the 500GB HD into a 250~250GB split up, dedicating more GBs for the new D drive partition. I disconnected my 80GB hd and used the diskpart utility in BartPE to set up the 500GB partitions. Assigned C drive to Active. Restore works without a problem after recreating the backup images several times. Once both partitions are imaged, I reboot and I just meet a lame blinking cursor ticking me off... I even check back with BartPE with the disk explorer. Partitions are good, I can view the files, and Drive Image reports that the C drive partition does start at sector 63... Any ideas/Help PLEASE! I don't want to use a pay program yet.
