Drive Image help needed ASAP.

I backed up a work pc with DI on four cd's. Trying to install the image to another machine at work with the exact same specs. Does it do the image restoration in Windows? If that's the case, I have to install DI 7 on the machine, right? When I go to install I got an error about the microsoft framework has not been installed. What is that and how can I install it?
And when I try and open DI7 I get a missing mscoree.dll error. I guess it's related to the MSframework???????

I need to install this iamge ASAP. Any ideas?

If you're going to install DI7 you need to install the ".net" framework which is included on the DI7 CD.

DI7 sucks so much I only used it a couple of times but I seem to remember that you can install an image by booting off the DI7 CD prior to booting into Windows. Go into the BIOS and set it to boot from the CDrom drive first, then insert the DI7 CDrom and reboot the system.

Is there any other way to get the .net framework? I am at work and do not have the disc with me. What are the files called that I need or is there a setup for it on the cd?

Also is there a way to make floppy disks to boot from?

You should be able to get the .NET framework from MS Windows Update, or from This link.

Strange thing is that I installed DI on the original computer and I don't remember getting any error nor a prompt to install .net framework.

Ok, so I got DI installed on the new machine. First of all it says it can't run inwindows so I restart it. Then I get this
"Restore operation returned error code 0XEBAB0013. Select Recovery Wizard..blah, blah.... and manually restore.

The only Wizard I see is the Restore wizard, not Recovery????? But when I try to run the Restore wizard, I get an error E7D1001E. Unabel to read from file. Error 00000001. Incorrect function.



Anybody have an ideas? I really need this image.
