Drive Image for Unix(Sun Solaris) ?????

Senior member
Anyway I can driveimage(disk to disk) a scsi hard drive running under Sun SOlaris v7 with a pc setup with some kind of software? Thanks

Well, most drive imaging software programs (i.e. Ghost) should work just fine for your needs. As long as you boot to DOS from a partition or a bootdisk and save the image file to a valid partition/drive for DOS, you're gonna be set. I've backed up an entire Linux drive (two partitions) to a DOS partition and it restores without any issues.

Just make sure you backup anything you need before trying this out. Chances are, if you are asking this question, you haven't done anything like this before.
